VICTORIAN and NATIONAL COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS
This gala evening takes place in the sumptuous surrounds of the Plenty Ranges Arts and Convention Centre at South Morang. The Victorian and National Country Music Awards recognise and encourage excellence in the Australian Country Music Industry. Held in high esteem throughout the industry, they are considered second only to Tamworths Golden Guitars.
The Memorabilia Auction returns in 2009, so make sure you bring some extra cash or you might miss out on some great music memorabilia. As this event has limited tickets, the night is always sold out. So get in quick, you never know who you might meet!

FREE STREET PARTY
Whittlesea township comes alive on Saturday with heaps to do for the whole family. From, music, buskers and talent search competitions, food stalls, boot scooting, animal nursery and heaps of activities for the kids.

TWILIGHT WITH THE STARS
From 3.30pm the focus of the festival shifts to the Whittlesea Showgrounds. Share a fantastic night of country music with artists such as The McClymonts, Travis Sinclair,
Jonah’s Road, Celestino, Andre Camillieri & The Broken Hearts, J.R.Williams, Travis Collins, Jetty Road and international artist Jackson Mackay. Food and drink is available around the grounds until late, plus stalls and kids activities.

Sunday Round up & Truck and Ute Show
You need to have a good breaky to get you through this day. Start the day at the Bush Poets Breakfast at 7.30am then move onto the Gospel Hour at 9.00am. From then on it's non stop country music by top name artists from all over Australia. Graeme Connors, The Distance, Adam Harvey, Catherine Britt, The Junes, Arly Karlsen (International artist from Norway), Olive Bice/Shady Deal, White Goat. Compere is Andrew Embling.
With heaps of stalls, food outlets, music workshops, clothing outlets and kids activities, there is something for the whole family to enjoy.
Also featured on Sunday is our great Truck & Ute Show. 100's of trucks and utes will be on display opposite the main stage which makes for a fantastic atmosphere.
